Fig. 3. The anatomical changes in the macular hole (MH) after surgery using the internal limiting membrane peeling technique in a 71-year-old man (axial length = 24.82 mm). (A) Preoperative fundus photograph and spectral-domain optical coherence tomography show the MH, which had a base diameter of 776 μm. (B) At two years after surgery, the MH had recovered well, and the measured central foveal thickness was 224 μm. Also, the best-corrected visual acuity (logMAR) had improved from 0.40 to 0.15.
