Fundus photography (left column) and optical coherence tomography (right column) scanned vertically and centered at the center of the fovea in an eye with submacular hemorrhage secondary to polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy. The visual acuity was measured as 20/400 at diagnosis (A). The patient underwent 3 monthly intravitreal injections of ranibizumab. The submacular hemorrhage was resolved and the visual acuity was improved to 20/100 after 6 months (B).
